Hey guys, Just joined up. Excited to come to know fellow Lexus enthusiasts. I own a 95 ls400 and just acquired a blk 09 ls 460L, so jazzed. Anxiously waiting for my Wald Portofino Classic wheels to come in for the 460.
I'm gonna run it "old school" with 20x9.5 with 245/40 all the way around so I can rotate and keeps the cush ride. See ya'll later with results.

Welcome to CL.
Besides the regular Car Chat here, we also have specific forums for the various LS models.

Although the LS has a compliant suspension, and is designed primarily for comfort over handling, if you want a cush-tush ride as you indicate, 20" wheels and 40-series tires is generally not the way to go. In general, all else equal, the taller and narrower the tire-profile, the smoother the ride....and the less road noise you will have, although, again, the LS is noted for its quietness.
