Opinion on a 4 year old engine oil interval with 10kms

The lubro moly oil flush I used is a quick flush type that works in 10min or so with the engine running that you add to the old oil before you drain the old oil, when done you just add fresh oil, there should be no need to drain the oil again because it does what it does in about 10 min while your engine is running for 10 min or so, make sure you let everything drain thoroughly and you can add a little fresh oil and let that drain right out to get any residue. Your oil filter should catch any other residue if there is any left. You should be able to run your regular oil change interval after the flush.

personally yes, I'd change it again after 1000kms - it's just cheap insurance - then run it the full 8000km and send THAT sample to Blackstone.

+1 on this....all in all, you'll spend less than $100 and have an astounding peace of mind on that vehicle!

I agree, cheap insurance and incredible peace of mind for $100 bucks. Just bought another 10 quarts of Royal Purple Thanks guys!
