I've only seen two Lexus commercials, the one the kids wish for a GSF and LX, and in my opinion those are the dumbest commercial I've ever seen from Lexus. The worst of the two is the one with Santa, listening to a kid wishing for a '2017 Lexus LX570 ... with 20" wheels' 
Who comes up with these ideas? The commercials felt awkward and corny, and honestly, i felt a little embarrassed by them, just awful.

Their commercials are more about the 'lifestyle' than the car(s). You barely get to see the cars, what you do see more of are the paid models with the stellar modern houses is very posh settings etc.
Like the spindle grills that's outta-control, so too are the Lexus commercials and they need to get back to some sense of "basics," and be about their vehicles (sprinkled with a dash of lifestyle) and the real driving experience(s) in their Passionate Pursuit of Perfection.
After all, they are trying to interest everyone into buying their vehicles and not just the 1 percent-ers. [Unless they would only rather business from the 1 percent-ers!?! ]
