Tailgating last year, this guy had a white, early 90's Chevy high top conversion van. It was white, with some really badass UT orange graphics and stripes,they were outlined/pinstriped in black, Power T on the doors and spare tire cover, the design on this van was top notch, it was in just immaculate condition, had Tennessee flags flying out the windows, a big huge orange normal sized Tennessee flag mounted to the roof on a pole. Plate read "EZTB4UT"

I saw a white HellCat with license plate HAILCAT.

The joke once went that ex-D.C. Mayor Marion Barry, a notoriously corrupt local politician who also did some time in prison for crack-smoking, had a license plate on his limo that said......"I MADE IT".

Didn't he he get reelected after he got out? Either way that man was a piece of work, and not in a good way.

Yep, he got re-elected as Mayor again, and then, later on, for several terms as Ward 8 City-Councilman. The people in his ward (arguably the poorest and least-educated ward in the city) just loved him...he routinely won with 80-90% margins.

During his last term as Mayor, the city government was so disorganized and ineffective that Congress itself stepped in and created a Federal Control Board that took some of his political power away from him and ran some of the city functions themselves.
