Using Maf Cleaner On Horn Contacts
Hi club lexus,
Im a proud owner of a lexus myself but this question has got to do with a Toyota (same thing in a sense). My lady has a 2006 yaris and the horn stopped working. I diagnosed that the electrical contacts at the connector were dirty and corroded. So i cleaned them and put some dialectic grease on them. This worked for about 1 month. But alas the problem has happened again. So i want to clean it with some sort of electrical cleaner but i don't have any on hand. I do however have Maf (mass air flow) sensor cleaner and I was wondering if I could use that seeing as it cleans and drys quickly with no residue. Im wondering if this is safe to use on it or if you guys have ever run into such a problem before and have a alternative solution to it. Thanks in advance.
