Have they (Acura) learned nothing?

Acura must make their sedan range look much more like the NSX II.

Would I take more than a second glance at an NSX? Yes absolutely lol
Sorry, I think this new Acura look is terrible.

I disagree, the NSX looks fantastic. The problem is nobody in that market wants an Acura and there is zero tie in between the NSX and the rest of the range.

Despite the classic parrot-beak grille, the ZDX wasn't so much actually butt-ugly as simply having a ridiculous rear-roofline (for an SUV) that made rear-seat entry/exit and headroom all but impossible for large adults. It was basically a 2+2 seeing configuration comparable to some pony cars......except with two rear doors.

i think the new nsx looks absolutely awesome.
to have packed so much tech and ability into a svelte tidy and elegant package is also amazing.

I was at a focus group run by Acura before the ZDX came out.
If our group had anything harder than plastic cups, the folks putting on the presentation would have been hospitalized.
Acura knew exactly what a flunk they had and still green lighted it.
It was essentially a smaller, cheaper, weaker X6 wannabe for retirees who shop for oriental rugs on the week ends and take their grand kids for ice cream now and then.
As you pointed out, the roof slope made the rear seat uninviting to be kind.
The car was hideous on top of that.
Business school case for not listening to the customer.

Some people said the original NSX did not stand out but it is a timeless design that looks great to this day The new NSX I saw was just beautiful, I noticed 2 people following it and taking pictures of it when the guy parked. I have read several reviews of the new NSX where they mentioned it received a lot of attention, more so then most exotic cars they drive including Ferrari's. Aside from the Lambo Huracan(have not seen it in person but looks really good in pics) I think the NSX is the best looking car in its segment, sexy and gorgeous but not a too in your face attention seeking design like the Lambo. Most would agree the new NSX is the best looking car to come from a Japanese company.
