No one is denying it's majority BMW, what are you going to cry about it forever? It is what it is Toyota didn't build their own car, life goes on.
Would I prefer the Supra to be 100% Toyota, sure. BUT I think Toyota is genius, they made BMW do essentially all the work. Sports cars aren't big sellers anyway, so if it ends up a flop, Toyota isn't as invested as they would of been
500+ whp (~330 baseline) with just a tune (no other mods) on e50!
Someone with a M340 on 93 pump with tune only, no other mods, did 470whp. Pretty cheap horsepower for $600. The B58 engine is pretty nice but not really sure how long it could hold up at these levels.
E means ethanol. The 50 represents the percentage-mix of ethanol with the gas. In the Midwest, E85, which is 85% ethanol / 15% gasoline is marketed, and Ford and GM produce a number of engines that can safely use it without damage. The EPA pretty much mandates a minimum of E10 across the country (sightly different blends for winter and summer), and it is difficult, though not impossible, to find places in the U.S. that still sell pure gasoline any more.
