You both know there is an ignore list feature? I use it and it works wonders, it filters out all the unwanted white noise. I personally enjoy reading both of your comments. Toyota has partnered with some other brands Subaru, Mazda and now BMW. I have always been interested to find out if Toyota lent a hand to BMW with reliability. I was also under the impression that the new Supra is technically not built-in a BMW facility, it was sent to a third party manufacturer..but not sure. I have always thought it is awesome that there is a 2 seat Toyota for sale as well.

The original Supra was a stretched Celica. It appeared in 1979 as the Celica Supra.

I can totally picture 1980-1981 coupes and hatchbacks, and I envision the Supra being longer than the hatchback (even if I'm wrong it's what's in my head). I don't know when the Supra became more outrageous. I remember visiting my cousin in NorCal 1991, and my aunt had a Supra Turbo and we went for a ride. If memory serves me it was brown (if memory does not serve me they didn't make it in brown lol). This aunt has had a sports car since the late 70s. She stopped with the E46 M3 SMG which she still has today (who says you can't own a German car out of warranty). She had the E36 Lightweight DOH I think that is a six figure car today. Somehow around the time I rode in her Supra, she had a non turbo Supra and RX8 or 7, I'd have to google it to see what would make sense, how those cars fell into place. But in 1996 she went German buying the E36 M3 Lightweight which sat in the showroom unsold for a year. I think it was like $38k which was outrageous in 1995. I'll always remember my mom saying, "I don't know why she drives cars like that. She had a hard time parking in San Francisco with the big wing."

Honestly I had no idea at that time. "What big wing?"

I don’t know of any BMW owners that think like this or even care about new Supra for that matter.

Have you heard of N54 engine, it only came out back in 2007.
I had one in my 2009 335i - 11yrs ago.

BMW owners may not be impressed by Zupra because making easy HP with a tune has been happening for close to 15yrs! Lol

Just wait until 2021 Supra with updated B58 - it will be even better.
I have this engine now btw in my X3. Lol

Yet, ironically no Bimmer B58 in it's 3+ years of existence has accomplished what the Zupra has done in it's first 6 months lol (9 second ETs, C&D 10 best, etc.). And there seems to be one person caring enough to continue trolling, eh?

Obviously you are new to BMW engines.

N54 have been running 9s for almost as long as they been out.
B58 is just latest engine in long line of turbo 6s. Watch some YouTube videos.

Running 9s on slicks is nothing newsworthy - maybe back in 2007 lol.

Just imagine what the tuned G80 M3 with AWD and new S58 motor will be running. Probably will be high 10s from factory.

Ah so you want to talk about derivative engines? Plenty of other engines around making 9s before the n54 (how's ur fuel pump holding up lol)?

So tell me again, what bimmer b58 car has hit 9s? I'll wait...

Funny how you go from one topic to another like a good lol troll....good try though!

Ps - here's the first "review" of the 2021 Zupra A91 with 381hp. With Toyco saying they'll continue to update it yearly a la the GtR, we may get to see a GRMN version with the S58 pissing off more Bimmerbois! Lol
