Gas Prices
Notice gas prices are some of the lowest in years. Filled up last night at 94.4 cents per litre. That's around $3.77 for our American friends.
I can remember a few years ago and gas was at $1.56 per litre or around $6.24 per us gallon. All numbers for regular

That's not bad for California. That's pretty much where we are in Seattle right now. I just paid $2.79 for regular.

Must be a local price war, it's been at 104.9 since Wednesday around the GTA. Shell Premium @ 125.9 while Esso Premium @ 121.9 Shell is always .04 more for their Premium.

Spare a thought for us in Vancouver. Regular has been around $1.28/L for a while, premium at $1.48-1.52/L depending on which stations you go to. And that's after a little price drop.
Came back from a little road trip to LA recently. Gas ranged from $2.40/Gal in Washington State to $2.90/Gal just outside LA. All premium, and I mainly filled up at Chevron or Costco. I guess Chevron 92 near Seattle must have been ethanol free. The trip computer (reset after every fillup) was telling me I was doing 30.0 mpg in the Washington leg. Dropped to around 25 mpg after filling up in Oregon. California gas gave me barely 23 mpg. Mostly cruising along at 70-75 mph. Anything over 80 mph, and I could see the mpg drop like a rock. Our cars are shaped like bricks after all. This on my RX 350.
