No, but I got a golf invite from BMW, and a mailing from Porsche, these are targeted....last time I got a Lexus invite was 2005! haha (when I drove the LS430 for the first and only time until 2016)

I wish Porsche would do another event because there is ZERO sales at theirs, it's all technical/driving.

Lately, BMW doesn't handle things well, they use some marketing co. out of Norwalk, CT, that actually calls you to confirm your slot. And they are not professional, "Hi Mr. ************. this is Jean from BMW. Please call me at 203-xxx-xxxx to confirm your time slot." click You call back and they answer the phone, "hello?" "Hi, may I speak with Jean?" hold music, transfer "Yeah?" <as if I'm the 5 th person calling back today> phone etiquette should be common sense.

I'm old enough to remember when GE Capital was king of the customer service, and everyone was pushing for it, AMEX, Citi, even amazon. Seems like it's gone.

I booked my 2 Day M School through BMW and they were honestly very professional. Maybe they use a different group for the marketing events vs the performance driving school events.

I signed up for the full day at Daytona on 9/22. I'll be driving the CT from Dallas and spending a week and a half as part of my vacation to just wander.

Key stay is 2 nights in Savannah, GA!

If you're interested in other driving experiences while traveling to the east coast (and being in the Georgia area), you can sign up and attend the Porsche Experience Center in Atlanta. I hear nothing but good praise by those that went there.

I already signed up for 2 days of driving at the Porsche Sport Driving School in Birmingham, AL on 9/19. I'm going to see if they'll give me a voucher for the the VIP tour in Atlanta. I'm interested in their master manual class in Atlanta though.

Trust me when I say the Lexus One Day driving deal is CHEAP. The Porsche One day is about 2 times as expensive.

How much are the Lexus and Porsche Schools?

BMW 1-Day M School is $1550
BMW 2-Day M School is $3999

The Lexus event I started this thread on is free.

I am not sure how long each participant session is.

When i checked the site, it doesn't seem to be free.

https://lexusperformancedrivingschoo...ration/Welcome

Edit, i now see the 'tour' experience is free but only in 4 locations while the track experience is paid and the tour one isn't available in daytona but the track one is.

Anyone Attending the one in DFW? I signed up for the FREE one, and its a 2 hour for each participant... Not sure what to expect is what you can get from 2 hours?

If anyone has attended threes in the past, please share your experiences.

Lexus 1 day is $900 (I think that's a steal!)
Porsche 2 Day in Birmingham AL is $3000 + $100/day to lower the accident deductible to $2000.

I went to the free 'Performance Tour Experience' in CA that completed this past weekend. It's a 2 hr. session comprised of: a 30 min. classroom session, 30 min. driving the V6's (IS 350, RC 350 F Sports), 30 min. driving the V8's (GS F, RC F), and 30 min. driving the LC 500, 500h. Driving = doing ~3 short laps and amongst cones. Folks are in groups of 20 taking turns in the cars for each session, scheduled through the afternoon. Attendance was ~300/day.

I thought it was a fun experience albeit short.
