mine was in the $50's as well.. Have cars become too expensive and have surpassed the average income of the average person? I know there has always been niche cars who were out of the reach of most, but to me it seems like the average car may cost more than the average person can afford.

you can make the car as stripped or as decked out as you want, it starts at 35k for a GT, can balloon to 50k. Dont option out a porsche if you dont like sticker shock. Find another car that is his capable from the factory for this price. Japanese nor euro brands cant touch the performance cars like this have for this price.

No way I’m paying $50k for a Mustang unless it’s a GT350. You can still find these under $40k for 2018

When I get back to the States next week, I'm going to test drive a GT premium 6-speed. Hope I won't have to trade in my Q50 already! :X

Test drove a 18' Mustang GT today:
- Mustang GT (Base w/ 10 speed auto, 3.15 rear axle): very disappointed overall! ****ty interior, cramped rear, and worse of all (and strangely enough), no torque down low. Was very surprised given all the recent hype, but it had good mid-range punch. Left shaking my head how anemic and cheap it felt, even for a $33k car (discounted $5k).
Overall, was not impressed but people are telling my I should of driven the drag pack with 3.55 axle. Will try again maybe next week.

with that dinky screen it looks bad but with the bigger one (and maybe there's other trim differences, i think it looks pretty good...
but it's never going to be mistaken for a luxury car!

what do you expect when you get the base model and 3.15 gearing? Youre right 0-60 in 3.9 is anemic. Premium + Performance package to get michelin PS4S tires, 3.73 torsen, and the car is on a whole new level
price escalates for a decked out one such as this one: Premium + LCD gauges and upgraded audio + Perf Pack
