Lexus LS500 reviews and discussion

Did anybody watch past where he walked out to the outgoing car? Does it look to anybody like the new one has less rear legroom than the old one?

Normally I like a lot of chrome, but this car may actually be overdoing it a bit. Especially with that front end and grille, it makes one recall the American Chrome-O-Matic monsters from the late 1950s.

I always try to get something different, but I always wind up back with Lexus in the end. Their cars always just wind up being equipped the way I like, accessible on the lot equipped the way I like, etc. I think the market is soft enough for big sedans that within 6 months of the new LS being out you'll be getting 10% off again. Thats the case for all the competitors.
My thing is I don't want to stray too far from $1000 payment.

That wheel design is similar to the ES hybrid's stock wheels. I think the shape is fine but the chrome bling is way over the top. There's so much styling madness going on with the new LS but like the LC, it somehow works. This car would look jawdroppingly gorgeous in Atomic Silver.

Great video - probably the first to have a walkaround of a production LS. Going to echo what everyone else is saying. The rims remind me something GM would put in their buicks or cadillacs from the mid 2000s. not worthy of a flagship

New interior looks great and very high quality... and nice to see one without the 'elvis' cut glass and origami on the doors. exterior is mixed for me... front overhang seems huge.
love how this hybrid has a huge trunk and i have a feeling this is going to be a great new hybrid drivetrain.

The new LS just does nothing for me inside or out. It looks like a stretched Altima from the outside and just seems very plain and barren on the inside. It now having a 6 cylinder is also disappointing. Maybe I have to see it in person.
