Interesting shot. Looks like an original First-Generation Mini-Cooper, either from 1959 (its introduction year) or somewhere in the early 60s.
That car's space efficiency was amazing. It could (reasonably) fit four small-to-average size adults into a car that would almost fit into the trunk of the average Cadillac or Lincoln of that period. That is, if the original 0.8L Mickey-Mouse engine could actually move the car with four people on board LOL.

That's a pretty cool topiary, was that the actual size of a Mini or was it smaller???
Also that sign below kind of has me scratching my head. HALT is German for stop, not usually a world I associate with english, yet the rest of the sign is in English. I assume this was in England, still kind of weird wording on their sign.
