What's the Brightest WHITE paint Lexus makes? Aurora White or Ultra White ? ? ? ?
I'm looking to get my car repainted. I would love to get the brightest white that pops in the sun as well and the shade. I know a lot of Metallic paints have dark spots and don't look bright at night or in shade. But I think Lexus has come up with some Great super Bright whites.
Let me know what you guys think? Photos are great as well.
Thanks.

Honestly, I think it was the 2002-2006? ES.
My 2002 ES300 is this color. It is called Crystal White Pearlcoat. Lexus Paint Code 062. It is literally the brightest, clearest most crisp white I have ever seen. Most pearly whites either have a hint of cream or a hint of pink, or a hind of blue. This is just PURE WHITE. It can blind you on bright days when its clean.

I agree on the pearl, I don't know how it happened that we have 3 white pearls in our stable...coincidence (none of the cars were ordered, they were purchased off the lot, and the moonlight pearl LS430 was 11 y.o.). I find it intriguing, seriously, to buy parts like my roof rail and door caps and they have the pearl white already applied and matching. What's nice about it is definitely illustrated in the pic above. I like that sparkle...even the touch-ups are not that bad, just have to have a base and mid coats...two different tubes...

the LFA is likely the whitest white as Hoovey2411 and S2000toIS350 have mentioned, but IMO it is kinda dull and doesn't quite "pop" . I think Ultra White is actually brighter and deeper and has a "pop" effect. Another white I would look into is Ford Frozen White, it is the white for the new Ford GT and the Focus RS and is a very unique bright and thick white.
I think the LFA is neither metallic or pearl.

I would guess most of the whites listed from the exotic cars would cost a lot more to mix and paint. I'd stick with more universal whites that have been available on every-day cars. Lexus's Ultra White is about as light and bright of a white as I've seen. All others preceding it had more pearl and appeared a bit darker under certain lighting conditions.

The Pearl effect may darken the white slightly, but, in most cases, gives it a far nicer texture. There's a reason why it often costs extra......even more so than other metallics and/or Crystal-coats. Lexus doesn't always charge extra for it, but other manufacturers do....GM, for instance, up to $1000.
