For the Zealots for whom self-image is everything, only an EV will do. For the rest of us, our cars are mostly just transportation devices. An ICE car has been refined over the decades to be a wonderfully-practical tool. A Hybrid costs a bit more at first but saves operating expense over the long haul. An EV needs constant attention with charging cables, the range is woefully short, and the recharge time is hours, not minutes. No thanks, but then, I'm not a Zealot. To Each His Own, I guess.
