Lexus Celebrates 10 Years of F with Special RC F and GS F
By Brett Foote

Japan-only F cars give us yet another reason to be envious of our friends in the land of the rising sun. See the special anniversary changes inside.

Please provide some examples of these.

i was mainly disagreeing with the 'sought after years from now' part.

The RCF has too much baggage to improve to make this limited edition that sought after. Lexus really needs to step up to make a really great F car again. Make it lighter and, despite my personal opinion that it looks good, the styling was too polarizing. The next F will easily be a much superior car and this RCF model will be remembered as a stepping stone rather than a game changer.

They will. But that won't stop some people in the future from trying to snap up some of these rare NA V8 sedans in the future and put it in their collection. 'Stepping stones' are important to a brands heritage too.

Pretty nice, although the RC-F is a bit overboard to the point of looking ricey.

I'm amazed there's no stitched leather dash and doors, especially in the GS-F. Lexus has always played second fiddle in the luxury department thanks to their lack of attention to detail.

That's kind of an absurd statement. The interior screws in the NX say 'Lexus'. The LS500 has a glass and pleated origami option for the doors as two examples. The ES330 and SC430 had some of the most well screwed together interiors ever in regards to fit and finish. We could find short cuts within Jaguar, BMW, and Benz vehicles too

Great first photo. One could argue this alcantara/suede Is more appropriate for the GS F’s intentions than leather. Thanks for sharing!

Appreciate the effort but not really feeling that interior color.

I love blue. Just not that blue. I believe the GSF to be the perfect balance of a family hauler and performance. I know it would for me and someone will mention Cadillac, Charger blah, blah ,blah. Not interested in those but WITHIN the Lexus family it would be perfect for me.
I only wish they'd show of that gorgeous blue engine with a small window.
