Don't. Never convince someone to get a car that they don't really want. If she doesn't like it, you will never hear the end of how you convinced her to get the Subie. As stated above, can't go wrong with CRV or RAV4.

If it were my $$$$, I'd get the last gen hot-rod V6 Rav4, they were made from 2007 to 2011 I think. But that's just because I'm power mad and want a generic SUV that will cut a high 13 second quarter mile with a couple of mods.
