Of all the 3 row SUVs I've seen, its the worst. A 3 row Nissan Rogue has more space,

A 3 row Rogue was available through 2017 but dropped for 18 I believe.

The Rogue has excellent front-passenger space and limited second-row legroom. The latter allows for a very large optional third row (not available on the SL or hybrids). Impressively, the Rogue’s third-row legroom, at 31.4 inches, is almost identical to the 2017 GMC Acadia (31.1 inches) and the Dodge Durango (31.5 inches); the Nissan’s third row sacrifices about three inches of headroom, though.

Which one are you referring to, Steve, that I haven't seen?....I don't quite follow you. If it's the RX-L, I did see it at the D.C. show (I presume you did, too, the day you were there)....but, obviously, on the turntable, neither of us could sit in it. Nevertheless, it was obvious, even on the turntable, that some short cuts were made in adapting the basic RX design to the RX-L....and the cutaway image I posted verified that.
Where have you seen a 7-seat Rogue? According to Nissan's own specs, all of the new Rogues have 2 rows and 5 seats.

And yes yes there was previously a 7 seat Rogue, my old business partner has one.

OK.....I'll modify it to very short cuts. That should make you happy.
Yeah, I plan to look at it in person, too....not sure if I'll do a review, since I've already reviewed the basic RX platform for this generation. And, right now, I'm also tied up with the Buick Tour-X Wagon....next review coming up (got some requests for that one).
Pohanka's got 21 RX350L's listed, though, and I'll have to assume that at least some of those are in stock....with more on the way.

well usually it does provide more cargo room with the third row down and it's one of those 'nice to haves' in a pinch to not have to take two cars out for 6/7 people. now if the two you want to stuff in that 3rd row are 80 years old, good luck with that.

Some more pics from the L at the dealer today.
A 6 foot adult should not be placed in the 3rd row for any amount of time. And any legroom for the 3rd row definitely means the 2nd row needs to be put it its furthest forward position, rendering that row nearly useless as well.

Makes me wonder if anyone at Lexus actually used those 3rd row seats before unleashing them on the well-heeled masses. Child seats would barely fit in the third row, unless you're using booster seats for kids younger than 10. So you pay $4000 extra to fit two 5-10 year olds... Then again, these chairs would be fine for short trips but long drives could qualify as a form of torture.
