Default Are CPO warranties from where car was purchased transferable to other dealerships?

Hi everyone, I was not able to find an answer to this because of the complicated question, but I've been looking at inventories of CPO ES350's in five Lexus dealerships in the area, and was wondering if I buy a CPO from a dealership 50 miles away, do I have to go there for CPO-covered repairs, or can I use my local dealership's services? Also, if I buy a CPO that also has the free 2 years of maintenance attached to it, does that apply to that dealership only, or is that transferable as well?

Thanks in advance.

If it's Lexus CPO, any Lexus will honor it, for it's 4 complimentary services.

The two year maintenance covers 2 years or 20K miles. That and any CPO warranty work can all be done at any Lexus dealer in the country doesn't matter where in the US you buy the CPO car.

True that!!!

However, Toyota dealerships will not do any Lexus warranty work unless authorized (which is rare, if any).

YOU can get "routine service" done at Toyota dealerships, but YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY. So what I would do is just get the warranty services (if needed) and the included CPO "free routine service" done at any Lexus of your choice AND THEN AFTER get routine services done at Toyota dealerships (cheaper and maybe more convenient for your location). Of course, if you are just dying to get the "Lexus TREATMENT", THEN GET IT ALL DONE AT YOUR FAVORITE LEXUS DEALERSHIP.

The CPO warranty comes from Lexus itself, though, of course, it is up to individual dealerships to actually inspect, repair, and recondition vehicles so that they qualify for the CPO tag....the factory obviously doesn't do that. So, if the dealership does slipshod work, hires second-rate technicians, cheats and doesn't do all the work that is required for a CPO, tags and sells the car as a CPO anyway (CPOs usually sell for more than regular used cars so), and that car ends up being a lemon and/or costing the factory a lot of money in repairs, then that dealership could (?) find its authority to sell Lexus-brand CPOs (or its Lexus franchise in general) taken away from it by the factory.
