Aron9000, agree with you about not using hatchback design more, but they've never been popular in the u.s., although that may be slowly changing. Although if it's about usability, then raising the roof and squaring off the back just makes it another ute.

Europe has more small hatchbacks because roads are smaller and parking limited.

In some tests the new 4cyl turbo Accord is not faster then the older 6 cylinder in all categories.

you're saying the same thing, they appreciate it because bigger vehicles are a MAJOR hassle with the lack of parking (or tiny spaces) and narrow roads.

You still can, it's called a TLX, now. I know what you mean about the V6. If Honda hadn't offered one in my 2017, I never would have bought one. The V6 transforms the car into something it's not supposed to be. It is certainly a special car. I'm sorry but the 2.0t can't transform the Accord the way the V6 did. It just can't deliver the power the way the V6 can. The V6 in the Accord is amazing.

I had a 02 Acura Type S. V6 felt strong and like new after 120K but the A/T expired after 120K. Not going to buy any Honda/Acura vehicle anytime soon

After 120K, that transmission doesn't owe you a penny. Sure it would be nice if it lasts longer, but in my book nobody can complain at 100K or more. In fact, when I was learning to drive, many cars were junked at that mileage....and some that did make it to 100K had had their engines overhauled.

I keep all my vehicles Nissan, Toyota, Lexus, Acura and Honda over 10 years or over 100K. None of them had an expired A/T. Honda/Acura doesn't owe me a penny, I just don't buy another Honda or Acura.

It's a known problem with those A/T's, in those years, in the accord. It's very well documented they are not durable.

what was true of cars bought 10 years ago is by no means guaranteed to happen to cars bought today.

Looks like the Aston DB11 in its V12 form and the Lexus LC 500 competed in the fall Motor Trend "Driver's Car" test. This time they're doing a follow up and the LC is the consistent track star while the Aston wins by the slightest of margins for being more raunchy with its AMG V8tt.

Yes, I'm wondering where all that extra pork goes. I like the photography here but it's obvious they're channeling some old Top Gear. If that's what they wanted to do, I would have essentially had them do laps with both drivers in each car doing circuits and providing their opinions that way.

With this they're just doing a "car reviewers in cars doing a bro-test and lot's of gesturing with arm waving bit talking". Comedians in cars. You got beard-o and smooth-man debating. It looks claustrophobic in there. Now the next test could be interesting if in fact Lexus puts out the LC-F with the 600 hp monster motor.

The DB11 costs almost double the LC. At that price, there are waaaaay better cars to get than the DB11

Sometimes I honestly don't know how Aston, Bugatti, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Koenigsegg, and similar exotic car companies manage to stay in business.
