Again, not every dealer elected to do this.
True, the Hyundai Genesis and G80 were (essentially) the same car...but the Genesis badge is expected to provide a higher level of dealer-service. To an extent at least, it's apples and oranges.

I asked one of the two local KIA dealers about the K900. In order to sell the K900, they would have to change both their showroom arrangement and shop at a cost of more than $30,000. They elected to not be a K900 dealer. I assume Hyundai has similar requirements to sell the G90 and most dealers would decline due to low volume. The G70 will soon join the G80 and help the Genesis volume.

There is a you tube video showing the delivery of a Genesis in Canada in a glass sided van. Pretty impressive.

i can agree with that impressive performance, surprised its a hatch (you can load a lot of stuff wit the seats folded down), the looks are relative, and its decently priced. well, it was enough for a nomination

As for the others I considered to varying degrees:
- BMW nor MB interest me styling-wise (3/4-series and/or C-class)
- XE is cheap on the inside
- I had a '17 A4 eliminating the A5 as its very similar.
- TLX A-Spec (yawn - I'd get an Accord Touring over it)
- Giulia... well FIAT... and quirky looks do not appeal... (exception Quadrifoglio though not what I wanted to spend on a daily driver)
- G70 was the one I was going to go for but exterior styling is a derivative and on the conservative side.
Wise man.... I as well have been impressed owning both Lexus and Genesis the Stinger is tickling my fancy more than the G70 for some reason.... Beautiful color combo.

Look forward to hearing more about your driving experience in months to come

I'm hoping to see John Davis at the D.C. show in a couple of weeks....but I haven't run into him in the last couple of years. He used to have a small booth on the upper floor, but Chevy and Buick recently expanded their displays into that space.

Thanks. Lexus will be hard to beat in reliability and build quality over the long run so we'll see how the Stinger holds up. In the interim, winter puts a downer on owning any car, especially this year with all the snow and salt on the roads but at least now I can pamper it and the RX with my freed-up garage. I can say at this time winter traction is a non-issue with the Stinger as good as the IS AWD.

Saw a Kia Stinger in the flesh yesterday. As I said originally, very nice looking front end and front quarter views. The rear end is better than I originally thought, but still not nice enough for me. I will say that the back end looks better than a very similar looking Audi.
The profile view was acceptable to the back door and then it sorta went south for me. I didn't realize that the car is not that high - the roof looks squashed down (I know its the new rage, but not for me)
The inside fit and finish looked well above average, but not in the same league as a Lexus.
In summary - more decent looking than I originally thought, but not enough to write home about.
