That is correct. I worked in the accounting department of a NPO with government funding and that is how we budgeted - spend it or lose it. In fact, if you do not meet the need-to-spend figures, you may even get penalized and lose other supplemental benefits as well.

Your tax dollars at work, ladies and gentlemen.

At least they should have use it for the traffic cops to write out ticket & generate some income to cover the cost......LAPD or NYPD, all corrupted.
