they're all electronic shifters now.
Not sure when the last time an F-150 came with a manual shifter. You can get it on the Super Duty's on the base trim.
No way Ford's putting it in their $80k super luxury off-road hot rod truck.
Would get in the way of the console anyhow.

Always loved the looks of these trucks, yours looks awesome. It always scares me to try another brand because with all of the different Lexus' I have owned none have left me stranded on the road. I have a Durango SRT now for only three months and wonder if I will be left stranded one day given Dodge's reliability records. It's just something I'm not used to.

Coming up on a year of Raptor ownership…
So far, of the 8,500 miles on the vehicle, about 1,200 of those are off-road. I’ve jumped, crawled, gone 90+ mph on dry lake beds and washes, trail pinstriped, and ripped desert donuts with the truck. It’s incredibly fun and it seems the harder you push the truck, the better it performs. The TT 3.5 Ecoboost V6 may sound like trash, but it sure is powerful.

I'm also a die hard V8 guy (I'm sure the EB is a great motor, just not for me) for several reasons, one big reason being sound.
So my question for you is: Would you trade some of the power to have a V8 feel, sound, and smoothness? My FIL has a new, beautiful F-150 with the 5.0 and it's glorious. He purposely chose the V8 for the same reasons I would have.
Again, absolutely gorgeous truck.

well now i don't feel so bad for all the times i've called it the crap-tor, gotta love the warranty haha... seems like a super fun vehicle to hoon around in!
i also have a bit of a V8 addiction, the lack of one in the LS 500 spoils it for me a bit, and i think it'd be a similar situation with the raptor. not that i'm considering getting one soon but something like that making V6 noises just doesn't seem right. same thing when you look at the 04 ford gt vs the new one.

I really wish GM or Dodge would knock Ford back to kingdom come with their pickup trucks. Both of them have supercharged V8's capable of more than 700hp that would fit right under the hood of a pickup truck. Make two versions, the speed version, aka reg cab/extra cab/crew cab/short box/automatic lowered street truck with AWD that rips off an 11 second quarter mile. Then make the one people will actually buy, the Raptor competitor, 700+hp supercharged V8 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton with the kind of crazy suspension the raptor has.

First let me say that is a ridiculously bad-a$$ truck. I'm more of a GMC guy but you just can't NOT respect the Raptor. That thing is sick.
