I had a 2006 Z. Always loved that car.

Internally known as the Z35, the next Z will reportedly share a platform and engine with the next Infiniti Q60. That car packs a twin-turbo, 3.0-liter V-6 good for 400 horsepower in its red-hot Red Sport trim. While 400 horses would be more than sufficient for most casual drivers, Autocar says Nissan has something even quicker in store for its most hardcore Z customers: A 475-horsepower, all-wheel-drive Nismo 400Z. To put that into perspective, Nissan's own supercar-slaying GT-R boasted just 480 horses when it first debuted back in 2008.

I would if it came with a true manual and RWD option. The Q60 motor is already doing well with aftermarket upgrades.

Perfect timing just in time for the Supra's return

There will be no Manual, most people do not want a Manual so they will not make one.

RWD is likely with 400hp and possible with the 475 hp though not likely. A true manual is not going to happen. Even the GT-R did not have one.

Thread says no manual, so no. The last one couldn't hit 50/50 for weight distribution (front heavy) and it kind of rubbed me the wrong way they said it had "approximate 50/50," which was nothing really except physics. So all cars then have approximate 50/50...I think it said, "At the precise moment the driver accelerates out of a corner's apex, the weight distribution shifts rearward and becomes an approximate 50/50 balance"

If this is indeed true, just goes to show how lazy and how much Toyota dropped the ball on the Supra, especially if the Z comes in at $40k or so.
