didn't take even one photo? if not could you go back and snap and share a few?

what does the exterior shape look like?

At the end of the day, I don't think this car has the goods to convert long time Lexus, MB or Audi fans. Perhaps there is a place for it somew but I am not sure where.
if it's offered with a 3.3T in it, it's gonne get some serious attention.

Are they perfect? No. A number of Kia and Hyundai products have seat-cusions that IMO are too firm and uncomfortable, The paint-color selection on some versions is a joke. And, except for the brand-new Stinger, they have generally refused, in the Kia/Hyundai line, to offer AWD in regular passenger cars. But it's hard to beat them for the price....when I settled on my Lacrosse, the G80 AWD was a strong temptation.
I would put Genesis at slightly a higher tier than Buick. I was not aware you were looking at a Genesis when you were shopping for your LaCrosse. .

Come on, Jill......you read the threads I did when I was choosing between all of the entry-level luxury sedans....the G80 was one of the choices. You were one of the chief responders in those threads...along with Steve and Bit.

Don't remember the debate. But perhaps I commented. Perhaps I did not. Anyways. The G70 had closest replication of a Mercedes Benz door thud. Never seen another brand get this close replicating the thud.

There are plenty of Google shots available. Jill didn't have to take any herself.

Same engine as Stinger. Exterior made me think Infiniti Q50. There is a 2.0t and 2.2d available.

Nice shots. Better, in some ways, than the Google-Images I posted, though I think the interior (as is the case with most vehicles) looks better in the ivory/off-white than the dark-gray/black. Definitely more plush-looking than the Stinger.....but that's to be expected for the price, and the up-market Genesis nameplate.

You did....many times. But, you're right...it's water over the dam. We're talking about the G70 now.

Yes, that's one of Hyundai/Kia's few weaknesses. their designs are often hardly original.....although it's getting difficult, nowadays, to come up with something totally new, without being guilty of copying someone else. It's also getting difficult to find (new) original names as well.

Yeah. Always liked light colored ivory interiors.

The 3.3 is offered. This was it. The G70 with the 3.3 is considered the sport model.

Engine options are the same as the Stinger! The G70 should be a bit lighter than the Stinger, so the V-6 versions should have the same "holy crap" acceleration as the Stinger GT. The manufacturer quoted 0-60 time is 4.7 sec, but the US spec cars should beat that by a tenth or so.

I know Jill is big on badge, but I can't see how anyone would choose an IS350 over the G70 for the same price.

I really like it! Can't wait to see one in person.

Once they come out with an SUV, Genesis will really start to take off!

Neither did Lexus when it was new to the market.
