this looks very close to a production version to me compared to typical fantasy concepts. but we'll see.

Navigator production and concept didn't differ much. Sheet metal was all production ready. But the concept taillights looked better.
don't see why they couldn't keep the Aviator exactly as is.

I like it. Proportions and stance are just right. But in this class and price range, the devil is in the details.

Besides the great styling - the interior quality and design are outstanding plus it also has the 30 way adjustable seats.

I hope so in Production form. If the Continental is any indicator, Aviator may be in trouble. If the Navigator is any indication, there is hope for a Lincoln comeback.

To me it looks 100% production ready - it has real door handles, realistic size wheels etc.

The interior also looks very realistic.

Its crazy - i like Lincoln more than Caddy now.
The just need a RWD sedan now....

Looks good inside and outside, I must say.

On the outside, I love their side view mirrors, so sleek
Not sure if it's for the production version since it won't be able to fold in (?)

yeah. I always wondered why they couldn't stretch the mustang platform for the flagship.

What Lincoln did with the Continental is the same as what Acura did with the RLX. They cheaped out, and you don't do that with luxury products. That's why people can't take Acura seriously.

Perhaps. I won't necessarily deny that. I haven't actually seen an XT4 yet.....only in images.

I think it looks, just ok. Kinda like a upgraded current Explorer with some new chisel on the side. I don't see the rave about it though. The mirrors are the coolest looking thing and that's probably not even going to make production. We'll see.

Lol, exactly. It looks ok, but nothing too spectacular - I don't see what the hell the rage is all about.

Most people give Lincoln bonus points for not F'ing this up.
The Autoblog boys even ranked this best of show by a large margin. It certainly caught people's attention.

A lot of cars these days offend in some way, and this manages to do that the least, without being too boring.
Sure, it just "looks ok", the same way Range Rovers look ok.

The trim cladding reminds me of the old Eddie Bauer trims on late 90's to mid 2000s Ford's. Very smitten with the Aviator

Which EcoBoost engine(s) will it get? One is probably a 350-400hp 3.0-3.5L V6 found in other Lincolns.

Since you're one of our Ford experts, what happened to the old Eddie-Bauer/Ford partnership? Did they just feel it was in the best interest of both companies to go their separate ways? Something similar (apparently) must have happened with Subaru / L.L. Bean and with the Neiman Marcus editions of the last 2-seat Ford Thunderbird.
