Is Tesla just months away from a total collapse?

They say that factory in California is an extremely dangerous place to work. The local EMT's say they are called out there multiple times A WEEK!!.

The story also took Chief Executive Elon Musk to task for allegedly telling safety officials he didn't like the color yellow, which is why equipment and pedestrian lanes are marked with gray stripes, not yellow. (Tesla pointed out that although the floor markings are gray, yellow signs, guardrails, and posts appear throughout the plant.)

Yes, I had read that. I was being facetious.

I don't see why, he's certainly no worse than any other executives I've seen, or worked for. People are constantly bagging on Musk and Tesla, cheerleading for him and his company to fail. VW openly lied to the public and had to recall 11+ million cars. VW experimented on animals. They get less hate than Tesla.

The worst that Musk will probably have to face, in a worst-case scenario, is a failed company.....not criminal charges.

Why is this a Tesla crash and not someone that crashed their car? Or is a Tesla vehicle not supposed to ever crash and kill people unlike every other brand out there. I am getting tired of defending Tesla here but things are getting stupid. The hysteria reminds me a lot of the Toyota unintended acceleration fiasco.

The press pushes the sensational button often. If you read the full story, the driver was 18 (driving a model S ?) and had a previous violation for 112 mph in a 50 mph zone. Obviously a Tesla problem in this accident? Where were the parents in letting someone with this little self control drive a Model S? Yes, there was a fire from the damaged batteries, but there was no fire from a ruptured gasoline tank.
