Elon doesn't like yellow

The story also took Chief Executive Elon Musk to task for allegedly telling safety officials he didn't like the color yellow, which is why equipment and pedestrian lanes are marked with gray stripes, not yellow. (Tesla pointed out that although the floor markings are gray, yellow signs, guardrails, and posts appear throughout the plant.)

If Telsa fails there will be a lot of people cheering. Not sure why.

Yes, I had read that. I was being facetious.

Agreed, one has to feel sorry for the employees who may (?) lose their jobs, and investors who bought stock, but I think a number of us would agree that Musk himself may have it coming to him.

I don't see why, he's certainly no worse than any other executives I've seen, or worked for. People are constantly bagging on Musk and Tesla, cheerleading for him and his company to fail. VW openly lied to the public and had to recall 11+ million cars. VW experimented on animals. They get less hate than Tesla.

......and those VW execs are getting what they deserved. Most of them are either out of a job, under indictment, have been hit with heavy fines, or will be arrested if they ever set foot in the U.S. At least one or two of them have already gone to prison. Even under the protection of the German government, life for them has not been very pleasant, as some of them have faced charges at home. Musk won't have to face any of that.....nor should he, as you pointed out. He's been dumb and arrogant, yes, but hasn't really done anything criminal....except maybe breach of contract with the many Tesla-3 customers that still haven't gotten their cars after nearly two years.

The worst that Musk will probably have to face, in a worst-case scenario, is a failed company.....not criminal charges.

I too have had the misfortune of working for a number of micro-managers in different companies, but that does not mean I come to accept this as legitimate and competent management practice. In fact, the more I experience it, the more I am against it, and will continue to speak out against this practice so that others may understand the damage it does not only to employees but the organization as a whole.

Why is this a Tesla crash and not someone that crashed their car? Or is a Tesla vehicle not supposed to ever crash and kill people unlike every other brand out there. I am getting tired of defending Tesla here but things are getting stupid. The hysteria reminds me a lot of the Toyota unintended acceleration fiasco.

The press pushes the sensational button often. If you read the full story, the driver was 18 (driving a model S ?) and had a previous violation for 112 mph in a 50 mph zone. Obviously a Tesla problem in this accident? Where were the parents in letting someone with this little self control drive a Model S? Yes, there was a fire from the damaged batteries, but there was no fire from a ruptured gasoline tank.
