Is Your Sunroof Safe?

Though my driving record wasn't perfect (I made one or two errors), I was considered a very careful driver by teen-standards....especially compared to some of the bozos in my high-school class. So was my best friend.....one reason why we got along well together) That is why my dad let me test-drive a bunch of big Mercury and Lincoln company cars he brought home from the office each night (he worked for the old Philco-Ford division after he retired from the Army)....he knew I wouldn't tear them up or abuse them. That is (partly) where I developed my love for big American luxury-iron....particularly big Buicks. And, to this day, half-a-century later, I've never damaged or wrecked a vehicle I was test-driving or reviewing. Not trying to brag....just stating a fact.

We weren't even married at the time & our son wasn't conceived yet. So no. She wanted to go to a far flung bar in the poconos . Must have snowed while we were there. I don't remember the drive up being bad. I made it down off the mountain & when I got to the flat lands, I got cocky. lol I thought the hard part was behind me. We were smoking weed & drinking as well. I remember looking up at my empty passenger seat & thinking, I have to go look for another GF? I just broke this one in.
Yes, though the Pennsylvania mountains are not particularly high, there are some wicked roads that traverse them. Some of the grades in that state (which reach or exceed 12-14% on some of the older roads) are trucking legend.
Anyhow, glad you are OK and learned from that experience.
