I feel like people buy the Model 3 because they can't afford the S. It does not look good at all

I know this is a current model so not necessarily "new" but I feel that this is the ugliest current vehicle on the road:

Completely agree with the rear of the Clarity. It's like someone sneezed on the clay model, tried to clean it up, and presented it anyway

Another car I find quite ugly is.....

I know I own it , well technically its my wife's car. But thats why I feel I am an expert in understanding how ugly it is. On the flip side, it makes an awesome freeway cruiser for family trips that requires a stroller and some luggage to go in the back. The fact it takes regular gas takes the cake!

Yeah the new Accord was the first to come to mind.

Sometimes, when I see the preferences here of forum members, one underlying theme might be flashiness.

Agree on the RX. As a fellow E92 owner, it may look like car for a HS student today, but in Dec. 2006, it turned heads. Yeah I live in the past

I love my e92. I'll put it this way, just purchased a new G30 530e, it sits outside, the e92 gets the garage spot

haha sweet, same here, the 2007 E92 is in the garage as we only have a 1 car garage. I drove it yesterday since my wife's car broke down and it's like ice skating or riding a bike. Back in 9/06 I was planning to buy a G35S sedan with a stick--totally a natural progression from a Maxima. But I saw an E93 parked on the A1A in Ft. Lauderdale on a business trip, and one thing lead to another....

My buddy will kill me but the Nissan Versa is pretty ugly (he got one for his 16 y.o. daughter and she won't drive it, rather get a ride with a friend!)...his plan worked

edit p.s. the current 5 is an example where I think the new one is better than the old. My buddy with a 535i (2016?) agrees. One of the reasons for me is that I feel the hood should not be a straight edge, and it should curve around the kidney grilles. So not everything newer is less attractive.

I didn't know the Clarity was that hideous I think they've managed to out ugly the Prius. Well done Honda.

I think that cars like the Prius, Clarity, and 1Gen Honda Insight are purposely designed to look odd by our standards, because they are marketed primarily to a type of environmentalist buyer that often is anti-car in the first place, and certainly not an auto enthusiast in the same sense that we are. They ride bicycles for a lot of their local day-to-day errands (and sometimes for commuting), and basically use the car only for rainy days or for going distances that are unfeasible for bicycles.

How did I not think of that? That is top 5 for sure. But not everyone knows it's a fwd car. My former female friend once texted me she was behind one with an AMG badge, how much would it cost, $120k? That's exactly what the owners would love to hear.
