New 911 GT3 RS matches 918 Spyder at the 'ring

Looks like the Nordschleife arms race is in full swing. The 911 GT3 RS managed to barely eke out a faster time than the 918 Spyder, which until not so long ago had the production car lap record (until the Huracan Performante came along). Naturally the GT2 RS is still king of the Porsche lineup, but by only about 9 seconds. This makes the GT3 RS seem like a pretty good performance deal at a hair over $187,000.

make no mistake. this is the gt3 RS, not the regular gt3. the starting price is 188k, 144k is just the regular gt3.
for reference, a USED 991.1 gt3 rs (2016) with less than 1000 miles go for around 240k to 250k now. so on a new 991.2 gt3 rs? some people are just incredibly rich
