Default Help with isf steering wheel retrofit

I am thinking about buying this for my build anyone know if it will fit, such as the diameter of the post hole of the steering wheel. I have a 2005 ls430 I am doing a "f sport" build.

The steering wheel is from an isf. Also the airbag can I just use the stock connections in my ls430 or would I have to wire in resistors so it does not blow up in my face.

Another thing I would like to address is the paddle shifters are they wireless or how so they work exactly I could not find a definitive answer online. I am also going to wire up the steering wheel controls such as radio volume and cruise control if possible. Any input is appreciated.

The airbag clock spring connections are different so I dont think the airbag will work so I would have to wire in a resistor.

might try posting in an LS forum for more info; maybe someone else has already tried.

careful doing all of this to an older LS, you'll make its back go into spasm!

my LS had to have gotten a bit confused when all of a sudden one day after 12 years and 79,000 miles of puttering around, probably never going above 70, and occasionally playing my grandpa's new york philharmonic CD, it all of a sudden started playing rock, metal, rap, hip hop, reached rpms in excess of 6000 (always on warm oil of course), made smoke come off its back tires, and definitely went above 70 a few times lol...

have you thought about getting an additional car like an old IS or something? no matter what an LS will still be a bigger, heavier, more wallowey car that certainly won't set any autocross records. a good thing if you ask me since it's primary goal is to be just the most comfortable car. it's obviously yours to do as you wish, but in my experience the best modification to make to an LS is the "bone stock" mod.

Hahahaha your intro was super funny. This is my 3rd ls430 I had a certain vision in mind for this car and am like 3/4 of the way to finishing my build. I have chassis braces, coilovers, headers, etc. My build thread is here
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/build-threads/873884-sterling-ls430-build-3.html

If you wanna check out my build your more than welcome. I will be buying a 95 sc300 and doing a LQ9 swap with a twin turbo set up in a few. I actually want to take my car to pinebrush or watkins glen actually and see what it is capable of, I am not expecting to shatter any records lol.

I have always loved the bmw m cars and the amg merc's, and wished the ls430 had a performance version. That is what gave me the idea for my build that and I have always been about performance mods, not into stance, vip, or any of that stuff.

well i can always respect going for function over form. when people use the "a car is a car, it just gets you places" way of thinking, i'll say yes you're right, but a faster car can get you there sooner! i've lost track of how many yellow lights i've made it through thanks to the supercharged animal residing in the e-class engine bay. if i'm in the LS or particularly the vic i have to remind myself to not even bother trying some times lol... i look forward to your SC build completion, if a build can ever really be considered "completed" anyway
