I need help on tailgate wont work on Lexus RX350 2010

My friend she has 2010 RX350.The button inside the car to open the tail gate is not working. She can use the key fob to open it. The power tailgate work fine . She did checked the lock and unlock button inside the glove box. Does anyone here have known this issue? Thank you all!

She checked it, but did she make sure that the button was pushed inward? Press out and then to reinitialize. I'd also hold the key fob button down leave it open, then try the button inside by the steering wheel.
