So I decided to pull the trigger on my dream car... no, not the upcoming Shelby, I had always wanted a Corvette.
After much work on the Stang and latest modifications, guy fell in love with it and offered way more than I had ever thought. Just happened to fall in line with a 2014 Corvette I found in Chicago with only 3,500 miles on it. Couldn't say "no". It was parked with $7 million in exotic inventory (BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Aston, etc.) and when I walked in, I knew it was the right choice. Not a Z06 or ZR1, but no need, more than enough car.
Although I loved my Stang (and previous Stangs), this "car" is incredible. On the lot only 10 hours and the deal I got was amazing. Thanks Ultimo!!! First impressions are: handling no comparison, acceleration much better as throttle response instantaneous, lighter car more than makes up for minimal loss of 15 HP off Stang. Comfortable ride but feel every bump, hear every piece of debris in road. 5-mode tuning **** is cool, haven't taken to track but will update on that when I get a chance.
Just enjoying the hell out of it right now. Glad I pulled the trigger... you only live once!!!!!

Manual or automatic???? I've been wanting to drive one of those new Corvettes with the 7 speed manual, see if its easy to get confused as to which gate is which if you're downshifting like from 7th to 4th or 3rd.

The coworker of mine who has one has the 7 speed and it's quite easy to drive. I did not have any issue.

Nice score! I'm not a huge fan of domestic sports cars but the Corvette is by far the most cosmetically-appealing to my eye and I think offers the best value for the performance. What color is the interior? Tan/saddle? Looks awesome in white- don't see many white ones in my part of the world.
