The US Lexus site shows (and has for awhile) the 2018 GS300/350 and the 2019 GS F. Same for the 2018 RC300/350 and the 2019 RC F. Just looks like they are releasing the 2019 F cars before the rest.

Why would they remove the regular GS from the cover of the manual and just call it the GS-F manual? 2018 GS manual has two models on cover with GS300, GS350 and GS-F on the title.. 2019 is now just the GS-F on the title, and just the GS-F in the pic. Strange coincidence? I don't buy it.

GS and IS will be combined to 1 model.
ES is the future.

For those that think nobody would notice if they replace the GS & IS with the ES, you should read the comments to that article...

Agreed. It will make very little sense to continue with the GS300 or 350 while the ES is on sale.

This could actually work....

Think what Acura did with the TSX and TL.

They MUST keep a RWD enthusiast sedan though.

No idea, really, but the 2019 GS F manual very clearly also covers the GS300 and GS350. Which part are you not buying? I don't understand your comment. Do you think that them only having the GS F on the cover yet keeping the GS300/350 details in the contents indicates that there won't be a 2019 GS300/350?

Yes. Sometimes I see complaints that the IS is "cramped". Going bigger than the GS would probably mean a less agile car though. By having a tweener vehicle, maybe they can have the best of both. Something maybe Q50-sized?

Lexus USA is well aware of this issue.
The problem is that Toyota Japan executives make all these big decisions and they could care less about enthusiasts, they look at results (sales) which are dismal.

Same goes for the weak half baked F lineup.
Lexus USA knows its not competitive but what can they do?

Thats why they adopted their new stance of we don’t follow the Germans LOL.
OK well then what unique thing are you doing? Basically just FWD Toyotas with no new tech.

Well, either or they are being lazy and just reusing the existing manual. The GS300 is not available in Canada even though there is manual coverage of it. So why take the GS300 and 350 off the cover then and just have the GS-F? Why update the picture and remove the 300 and 350 off the cover?

Entirely possible...

Because they use the same manual for the US and Canada, and the GS300 is available in the US.

So why take the GS300 and 350 off the cover then?
Like I said, I have no idea.

.
I think the GS300 and 350 get deleted for the North American market, they will continue on elsewhere where the ES is emerging.

The GS as it is isn't very big, and a next gen IS would likely grow, so I think having something GS sized makes sense, if people want more room they can always go to the ES, and if theres demand they can do a GS-L.
