Default Lexus Driving Tour at Angel Stadium

I don't know how or why, but I was invited to a "Lexus Driving Tour" taking place next month in Anaheim at Angel Stadium. Apparently you get 90 minutes to drive the new LS, LC500h, among several other cars. I'm a Prius guy and not even a Lexus owner, so I have no idea how I got the invitation. I signed up but apparently all the spots are full now. Anybody ever been to one of these events? Are they really worth the time? Any free stuff?

No free stuff but you get $1,000 coupon to use on new Lexus.

I went to the event in NYC.
Got to talk to Scott Pruett and he took some of us on a hot lap in a GSF - so definitely worth it!

Are you serious about the coupon? Can it be combined with any other manfacturer discounts normally given?

Yes serious- you should definitely be able to combine with other available discounts.

Sounds almost like the old "Taste of Lexus" event they used to do at the old El Toro AFB. I just added myself to the waitlist for this event.

I've done these a couple of times and they are always excellent. GO! And yes, at least in the past, if you get the $1K coupon it can be combined with any other discounts.

Went to the one at Citi Field, all the people are nice but the event really isn't worth it.....the time behind the wheel of the LS500 is way too short and so odd, the entire fleet was left idling. Instead of idling the cars, why not have guests driving them? And zero instruction, with the LC500 and RC F. Again, Lexus staff is super nice, they just don't know how to run an event, and should learn...

I wonder if anyone is buying a Lexus, and would say pfffft, it's not worth my time to save another $1,000 lol

That would be like buying a new BMW and not using a BMWCCA discount, where even if you don't want to be a member, you can spend $134 to get $500 off a 3, or $1500 off a 7. The net is a gain. But there will always be people who listen to XM311 and say pffft, I don't clip coupons to save!

p.s. is the coupon transferable, I have one and if it is anybody is welcome to it
