$250 for a Lincoln test-drive? And I thought that Lincoln's $75 yearly offer (pre-paid gift card), at the big auto shows, was generous. They donate $75 now, instead, in your name, to a charity of your choice.
he got glasses that retail for $250 (and probably cost the dealer $25 in bulk), not $250 cash.
I left a pair of Maui Jim's in the pocket of a shirt I donated to the Goodwill. Realized what I had done and went back later in the day, but the Goodwill wasn't accommodating at all. They said they would have to watch the cameras to make sure it was me that donated (apparently a receipt wasn't good enough proof) and then I would have to dig through all the donations to try and find the glasses. I cut my losses and pledged to no longer donate to the Goodwill.
Well, I wasn't referring to the rest of you. Besides, I'd probably keep test-driving whether I got paid for it or not....though it's always nice to get a gift card.

Lincoln didn't pay $250/pair. It's a win-win for Lincoln and Maui Jim; customers come into the dealership, and it's free advertising for Maui Jim.
