Whatever is going on with Hyundai these days I like it. A lot. Finally a car company's management gets it that the vehicles in their lineup should have individual styles that give them unique personalities from one another. This is something that seems to have been abandoned some twenty years ago by most automakers. There are exceptions here and there but by and large we always see the same grilles/faces across a manufacturer model line among other styling choices.

Before anyone wants to praise Hyundai. How are their sales going? Are they growing with their current direction or are they flat or are they losing market share? I am not the biggest fan of the direction Lexus or Toyota has gone, but sales seem to be doing better than they were year over year for the most part and it seems Toyota and Honda as well can still command higher prices than Hyundai. So yeah, while the author might think Hyundai “gets it”. Do they really if sales are not there?

Hyundai is in transition from junk upstart to mainstream to bad sales strategy and product mix, now dealing with 'revenge of the japanese' but they're not done by a long shot.
