Does not matter what it looks like and how it drives because it does not pass my first two test. J D Power has not ranked it #1 in reliability for seven years in a row and BMW is the most expensive vehicle to maintain compared to the Lexus which is the third least expensive and only behind it's cousins Toyota and Scion.

Lexus is also not the manufacturer of the fastest depreciating cars.

If you buy new or used (CPO) then just get their extended warranty and maintenance plan. They have plans that go up to 7years and 100k miles.
My 2018 M3 i purchased so if i decide to keep it long term i will definitely get the extended plans for peace of mind. There is also plenty of great shops specializing in BMWs that I would trust more than dealer to do maintenance.

I always told myself if I ever got an X5, I'm getting the 315's on the rear (325 on the Ms?). Not that long ago I went online to configure one, and did not see anything for it like the old days. What do you need to order to get those phat tires? I've seen them even on the 6 cyl. cars.
Yeah, I know things have changed, but 10 yrs. ago you never buy a Porsche without an S, or a BMW without ZSP. Even if you had to do vinyl seats, you still got the ZSP with a stick. Some folks considered the ultimate bang for buck E9x was a 328i with ZSP and 6-man, no ZPP etc. at all. Can you imagine the list was around $33,700 from memory, a lot of car for the money.

Its a staggered fitment.
The new X5 that just went into production will offer 21 and 22s options in Msport trim with Staggered fitment with 315s outback.
The one negative is they are high performance summer tires not all seasons.
I do agree its a must have and really sets off the stance of X5 and makes it look very cool and sporty.
