Cant imagine high performance brakes for speed are going to make a difference with Escalade buyers. Seems to me that the brakes on an Escalade are adequate as there is a towing requirement for some buyers. I guess Brembo by KIA is a marketing thing and not just reality.

You are greatly oversimplifying a complex issue.

Of course high performance brake with less tendency of fading will make a difference. Regarding towing, trailer has it's own brake(hydraulic for small trailers, electric brake for large trailers) truck brake works with trailer brake together. Some times ABS can be troublesome trailering, I know some folks disable ABS. Have you towed say 7000 lbs. trailer behind a truck going steep down hill or uphill? Once I had trouble with master cylinder on the truck but I managed to run down the hill manually modulating trailer brake. Did not need to run up the runaway hill.

So...where are all the complaints of brake fading and failing when towing with GM full sized SUVs?

These guys know how to make a big truck.

From what I remember from my review of a 2007 Tahoe, the brakes on full-sized GM trucks and SUVs improved significantly that year, due to customer complaints over the earlier Push-and-Pray brakes. I remember going with my ex-supervisor, at his request, after he retired, to help him get a brand-new GMC Yukon XL (a rebadged Suburban). It was sometime around 2003, but I don't remember exactly. Both me and his son-in-law (who was also there with us) test-drove it and expressed concern about the brakes, but he bought the vehicle anyway.

It sure wasn't meaningless at the time. I well-remember those Push-and-Pray brakes.

Well, we live in the now not the then. If I need some background on what people built 15 years ago I know where to go.
