2019 Lexus RC Facelift

I highly doubt the 3.5-liter will continue to the next generation of RC. Given that we are just now seeing this refresh, we probably still have 3 more model years with the current iteration of car. By then, I would be surprised to see that engine in this car, at least, in its current form. There are rumors of a new 2.4-liter inline-4 turbo which could supplant the existing V-6, at least as far as the IS is concerned - and the RC is closely related. That being said, I kinda want to enjoy the naturally aspirated engine while it's still here.

I like that the drl is integrated into the headlight but I think the location of the lowbeams make it look like an insect. The triangle layout of the old design was awesome!
Overall I like that they toned down everything. Still not for me but Looks cleaner. They need to do the same with the RX and tone that down too.

I will repeat what I said in the LC threads....
Discontinue the RC and lower the price on the LC by $25K.

Since they claim to be taking styling cues from the LC, they should have at least swap out the old steering wheel for the new style. Even the cheap UX gets the new steering wheel yet Lexus keeps putting in the old one in new cars. Every model in the lineup should have had the new steering wheel by now. Typical Toyota....everything is done from a frugal approach.

I have an IS and have sat in a couple of RCs. Really the center console is the only thing that isn't agreeable. Otherwise, everything you look at and touch feels pretty solid and looks good. It doesn't photograph well, but when you're in the car it is nice. I think part of it is the seating though. Nonetheless, the refresh brings some more than welcome changes.
