There are rumors of a new 2.4-liter inline-4 turbo which could supplant the existing V-6, at least as far as the IS is concerned - and the RC is closely related. That being said, I kinda want to enjoy the naturally aspirated engine while it's still here.
that's really sad....BMW will be in its 3rd generation of the its twin turbo i6, Infiniti released their's a couple of years ago, and MB has had boosted variants for a while, all the while Lexus is putt-putting around with an antiquated NA V6. A 2.4L Turbo may help, but knowing Toyco, it will be laggy (just like the existing 2.0L) and output would be down vs. the competition's I6/V6 turbos. Sigh......

i'll be in minority, but i'm not a huge fun of the headlights. I wished they could make them more aggressive looking, more angular perhaps. Other than that it looks good.

I like that the drl is integrated into the headlight but I think the location of the lowbeams make it look like an insect. The triangle layout of the old design was awesome!

Overall I like that they toned down everything. Still not for me but Looks cleaner. They need to do the same with the RX and tone that down too.

Its ok i guess - is it getting new engines?
Any RCF updates?

Lexus needs to do a hardcore RCF to compete with M4Competition.

I will repeat what I said in the LC threads....

Discontinue the RC and lower the price on the LC by $25K.

That interior is still the nastiest cabin I’ve ever seen on a Lexus. A shame really because the RC and IS both have sporty exteriors.

Boy if you think this is 'nasty', I can't imagine about what filthy words you'd use to describe a more mainstream car.

Lol!! Well probably not an insect now that I am actually thinking of it, but probably one of those Arachnids with the eyes that go vertically up the head. Yikes.

Tie in social medias overuse of the predator grille meme.... Lol!

Since they claim to be taking styling cues from the LC, they should have at least swap out the old steering wheel for the new style. Even the cheap UX gets the new steering wheel yet Lexus keeps putting in the old one in new cars. Every model in the lineup should have had the new steering wheel by now. Typical Toyota....everything is done from a frugal approach.

Maybe I wouldn't call it the nastiest, but the quality of plastics used in the center console is questionable, to say the least.

I have an IS and have sat in a couple of RCs. Really the center console is the only thing that isn't agreeable. Otherwise, everything you look at and touch feels pretty solid and looks good. It doesn't photograph well, but when you're in the car it is nice. I think part of it is the seating though. Nonetheless, the refresh brings some more than welcome changes.
