MM Full-Review: 2019 Ram 1500 Limited

I feel like trucks weren't always hugely discounted like they are now....because they didn't used to be absolutely outrageously equipped (and priced).
My truck was 44-46k MSRP in 2003 and a few grand was taken off but not a huge amount.
That doesn't sound like that much but adjusted for inflation thats about $64k. The question is how much is a loaded new SLT (not Denali) Yukon going for these days? That sounds about right, the Denalis are above 70k.

Great review and an enjoyable read, Mike! I still can't get over the price of trucks nowadays, they're more than twice what I paid for our Tundra back in 2006. However, there's a lot more content and refinement in today's trucks and they seriously do border on being luxury vehicles.
So, how do you approach a salesperson when doing your reviews. I am uncomfortable taking anything for a test drive unless I'm seriously considering the purchase. I feel like I'm wasting their time. What do you tell them when the salesperson starts asking what you're looking for? Do you tell them "I'm not going to buy, just want to write a review"? And don't they start hounding you for weeks afterwards to see if you're still interested in buying? Thanks again for the time and write-up. You write as well, or better, than most automotive journalists.
