Car Advice - Kia/Hyundai vs Ford vs ?

It was an acquired taste for me. I didn't like the 1st gen which was smaller. Over the last 2 years I have driven every version of the 2nd gen, 4cyl with turbo & without, electric plugin, hybrid plugin, sport with DCT trans. Once you have driven one it changes your mind about them. I like the interior design, the handling, the driving position is higher than a sedan witch gives you a great view of the road, the short wheelbase helps it corner very well. Good storage space...

it was for me as well. I can't say I was blown away but the same day we (dw and I) took the Toyota corolla, chr, IM hatchback and mini cooper for a drive and everything considered....we voted kia soul to be the best bang for the buck...next time I need a econobox, it will definitely be considered.

i think i'm leaning toward the mazda3 touring. hopefully that will be a good choice.
