Default I was wrong - apology to FIGS engineering

I would like to let everyone know that my issue with the figs engineering control arms were not caused by there product. The shop that was doing my alignments was lying to my face and taking my money. They were not tightening the jam nuts on any of the arms or tie rods after the alignment and that was the clunking. Please order there product's they put a bunch of time and effort as well as track test there everything they sell.

I would highly urge you to go back and update your original post regarding this, so that somebody stumbling across it later via search will know that it wasn't a FIGS issue.

And this is the issue of people buying parts and having others install them. Unless you are doing the work yourself, better get to the bottom of the issue before making any public accusations. It just makes you look stupid.

Good move on clearing their name.

Now, now we all make mistakes. The important part is admitting when you made one. For this guy to come out and publicly announce to everyone on the forum that HE was wrong, and admit to the mistake he made, well...mad respect. Most people would have just let it go and the impact to the company's reputation (however minor) would remain. In reality, the company has probably already moved on and recovered. But this guy was willing to clarify the situation anyway, regardless of how it makes him "look". IMO, it makes him "look" like a very good person. Kudo's to you OP.

Eh, it's one thing if the customer is a skilled mechanic. If not, I imagine the vendor would much prefer you have them installed rather than do it yourself, when it comes to dealing with warranty claims.
