Ultra-Luxury Coach Cars...If money was no object, which would you have?
This is purely hypothetical. I am in no way looking to buy one of these cars (just going to be up front about that so there are no assumptions). Given the options, limitless resources, and a penchant for the finer things, which Ultra Luxury car would you choose?
Stipulations-
-MSRP of over 250k when optioned out.
-No sports sedans like Panamera, etc
-No SUV's
-No wagons

Mercedes Maybach S650
#2
Bentley Mulsanne
#3
Rolls-Royce Phantom
#4
Rolls-Royce Ghost
Feel free to add any others I haven't thought of.

I liked the old Maybach 57 and 62 more then the current one which is basically just a stretched S class now with some added features, I don't think the new one is really worth the extra money over a loaded S class sedan, they look the same, the 57 and 62 were unique from a S class in most ways. A used Maybach 57 or 62 would definitely be a top choice for me for a ultimate luxury sedan.
I really like the Aston Martin Taraf/Lagonda, love the styling of it. That would be a top lottery win car though I have never seen one in person.
If you are including 2 doors I have to include the Bugatti Veyron and Chiron which I think fall more in line with luxury GT's then sports cars. I would love to see a 4 door Bugatti luxury sedan.

The RR Ghost wasn't on the OP's list. That uses a modified F01 platform but at the next redesign will shift to the AOL RR-only platform.

Well, it just might (?) take 250K or more, in today's dollars, to custom-build (or re-build) one of those from scratch in a frame-off restoration.
If not, then I agree with several other posters, and would take the Rolls-Royce Phantom, hands-down.

I am with you there. If I was going to drive it myself, Bentley all the way. Rolls if I have a driver. I mean honestly, how discernably different will the ride between a mulsanne a phantom be? splittling hairs here. But I LOVE the Bentley interior.

it'd probably be the new phantom for me, i think they did a great job designing that.
i also always like the old maybach 62s as far as the coolest back seat goes. there's no more aston martin lagonda or anything so the list to choose from is pretty short lol.
