That collaboration never actually happened. The recession put that one to bed. The actual 2nd Gen Titan is an all-Nissan design(minus the 5.0 Cummins V8, which has never been in a Dodge).


They only reason the Titan sells at all is that it's far cheaper than its competition. It doesn't really offer anything over the competition(Unless you want an expensive diesel engine in a truck that's too heavy to be useful as a half-ton but still too light to enter the 3/4 ton world). And despite the low price, they can't even pray to catch the Big 3 in sales.
