back to the g90... my feelings thus far on the 2020 is pretty mixed... i get why they upped the 'bling' factor, but it's probably not for me next time. the interior is a slight refresh from mine, and i'm not sure how much i'd use a touch screen where it is as it's pretty far from the driver, and the controller and voice work great anyway. i do wish they'd gone full led panel for main gauges, they compromised there... the k900 is better in that regard.

i'm sure the new one drives GREAT, and is very serene. i'm sure i'll check it out later next year.

Sedans in this class are supposed to have bling. One is not buying a Corolla.

There's tasteful and then there's over the top. The buyer in this segment is pretty conservative, personally I think this is a little past it...

Perhaps you and I just don't agree on the definition of bling. In my book, the G90 interior is bling......but, also IMO, that is not a bad thing. Bling, as I understand it, is a term for luxury and ostentation, not just surface-flash and bright finish.

When you say "bling" thats not describing luxury and quality lol. It describes over the top flash and show.

That looks 1000x better than the LS500. LS looks cheap in comparison.

You did not quote me correctly. I did not say bling was luxury and quality, but luxury and ostentation. Many decidedly UN-luxurious vehicles are quite-well-built.

I don't think the LS500 looks cheap inside at all, its actually very high quality inside. The G90 is a more traditional approach (which I prefer) for sure though.

BTW, the top picture of the G90 dash is the pre-refresh.

"Ostentation" isnt the right word to describe bling. Big gold dollar sign necklace full of diamonds is bling.

you said my g90 has bling and now you're saying it's luxury and ostentation when ostentation means "pretentious and vulgar display, especially of wealth and luxury, intended to impress or attract notice." that's not me or my g90.

i DO feel the new g90 is more about making a statement and is intended to impress and attract notice (huge grille, etc.) but i'm not going to say it's pretentious and vulgar though.

i could see me driving a 2020 g90 because i like so many things about my current one and some of the changes in the new one, but definitely in a dark or less flashy color than the purple/burgundy i've seen.

A great walk around review of the car and details on inside. Shows many of the reasons i love mine.

i also REALLY like this dark gray color.
