Here's Doug's take on it (Hope this isn't a repost......I didn't check back through 20+ pages, but not likely since he apparently just released it)

I'll reserve final judgment until I see it close up, but, from the video, he seems right on one thing....the grille, wheels and light-patterns make it a rolling circus.

He does a good job of pointing out all the features in the rear seat, which makes this a good limo for owners who want to be driven around or chauffeured.

Is your comment "a rolling circus" meant to be disparaging? Because I watched Doug's video and he likes all the design elements you mentioned.

My kids would have a field day in that back seat controlling the music, etc. Sounds like torture for us parents of young kids!

Nice car. We have had the chance to be driven in the G90 on multiple occasions to the racetrack. Great car! Kudos to Hyundai for sticking with their V8 in the Genesis brand. I do think the LS has a better V6 as it makes almost as much power as the V8 (and more torque). I really liked the white/cream interior.

The G90s V6 is smoother feeling than the LS' V6 though.

Got to spend some time with the refreshed G90 at the DC Car show. I gotta say, its growing on me. I still dont like the rear and the wheels are a bit much, but the front is growing on me. The new interior enhancements are very nice. We all agreed it was a more appealing car than the LS500 also at the show. Much bigger inside, more traditional interior, etc.

^^^ yes they made some very nice changes. I still think they could have done more, but they're great evolutionary changes. As for the rims, my understanding is you can still get the pre-'20 rims for it as a no-cost option.

Obviously looks are purely subjective but I love the rims and the giant grille....then again, I personally also like the LS500 face. I like, but don't *love* the LS500 which is why the G90 is so compelling! It does help that their resale value doesn't hold up as well as Lexus so potentially waiting a year or two to get a used 2020 G90 seems very attractive...

The G90 was also one of the most popular cars at the show, tons of attention where the LS500 was totally ignored.

Now, all the Lexus vehicles were F Sports which I think was a mistake.

I saw a silver LS the other day. Then a black on beige LS500. It’s strange, I like the LS design a lot, then I question some of it (especially the remote touch part). I think the LS is a better flagship than the G90...it projects a higher image. (imo). The G90 is probably the more satisfying model, but the LS was sort of designed to be more emotional (hence) the thoughts that I like it sometimes, then not sometimes.

Lexus has lost its direction with the LS500. Either make it a true full size luxury sedan or make it a high performance sport sedan. To me this car is stuck in no mans land. Unfortunately.

I like the G90 better, seems more refined. I need to test drive one to confirm my initial thoughts.

I think the F Sport branding has been a great success for Lexus. I like the F sport better in the UX for sure
