We have similar taste in design. I agree. I might add the Macan to that list.

I know that when I did the $100 Lexus test drive in the RX-L, the GM who drove with me said they are not moving, nor are the LS500s, and he has to turn it around. I can't remember what month that was. The good news is there was plenty activity in the dealership at 18:00 EST, so people had to be selling cars, maybe just not RX's and LS'.
- LS sales increased by 154.6 percent for month of October 2018 with 835
- LS up 54.6 percent in September 2018 with 668
- LS posted sales of 923 units in August 2018 down 7%, but was still the segment leader in sales minus the Tesla Model S.

Discover incredible offers on any 2018 LS, LS Hybrid or LS F SPORT.
- Up to $8,000 in combined conquest and cash offers when you lease or buy.
- 0.0% APR financing up to 60 months when you buy.
These unprecedented offers have been extended through 12/31/18. See offer details below.
Wow - This is as bad as the discounts on the RCF and GSF. LS is only in Its first model year, it has another 6-7yrs before a new model.

Yeah that $8k incentive is nothing compared to some of the other medium and large Luxury sedans I’ve seen for sale lately.
try $30k off a brand new 2018 Maserati Quattroporte or $20k off the 2018 Audi RS7 right now. Everyone is doing their end of the year clear the lot sales, just because you see lots of cash incentives on a car’s hood doesn’t mean it’s a sales are trash. LS tied and has surpassed the juggernaut S-class in sales the past few months.

Steve, you may have rebellious tastes?
I find the new RX attractive.
You don't find the new RX attractive, though in the past few years, the RX has been America's biggest selling luxury motor vehicle.
Yet you find the new 5LS attractive, even though the new 5LS is by far the worst selling LS to debut in history.
Your "personal" opinion is one thing, but the "market's" opinion is something else.
A manufacturer like Lexus will obviously choose the market's opinion over individual opinions...

Not to mention the crazy 0% financing for 60months! I have never seen them do a fire sale like that especially on a 1st year model.
The $8,000 is on top of the regular negotiation so combined your looking at $15-20k discount.

BMW is offering nothing unfortunately in terms of lease cash and lease programs suck right now for all their models.

Please show me anything like this for Sclass or 7series.

Don't believe me? Go look on MBWorld lol
Huge incentives are a requirement in this segment nowadays.

Your in wrong market region if you can’t find big incentives on luxury cars. I know a Mercedes dealer giving $20k off left over W205 C63’s and E63S AMG wagons that they can’t move and they are new 2018’s in California.

I agree, for a first year model, the incentives are surprising and are somewhat disappointing.. I would say the incentives support the idea that the new LS is not selling as well as Lexus had hoped.

Not sure what LS sales and rebates have to do with an SUV thread, but I'll join in.
$8k on a roughly $80k car doesn't seem that crazy to me. Back when I leased my GS they had $5k Lexus cash, so also roughly 10% of a lightly optioned model. That's when the GS was still selling over 20k a year. You can get some pretty good cash back during the December to Remember sales event.
My local dealer isn't advertising any promotions/Lexus cash on the new LS, but I'm sure it'll be coming soon.
