Declining sales of anything without 'utility' in its description

Correct, which is like I said if thats the best out of that whole segment best to just avoid the whole segment. Spend a little more and get a compact car.
Its all relative. US News ranks it #9 in subcompact cars.
Interesting that Car & Drivers gives the Spark its Editor's Choice.

I drive a LOT of cars, and there are several compact cars that I think are very good cars...Civic, Mazda 3 are big ones. Even the Cruze within the GM family. My brother in law also has a Honda Fit I've driven several times and its a much nicer car than the Spark.
I think the Spark is a terrible car because It struck me as a terrible car, not because I was comparing it to much better cars. The only reason to buy a Spark is because its cheap

NOBODY is comparing the Sonic to the LS. So, why even bring up the LS?
We were discussing the Sonic, not the Spark. The Spark, an A-class minicar, is smaller than the Sonic, a B-class subcompact. I agree it is not in the same class........the Sonic is a significantly better driving vehicle.
I don't need reviews to tell me what my opinion of a vehicle I've driven is.

Thanks marshall. I appreciate the scores. I do not have access to the scores. For reference, what does a Cruze rate at?

Looking at numbers, and I personally have no feelings for the cars being cut because I would never buy one. In the quarter, the Buick brand is down on units sold and the Lacrosse is down 53%. They are selling about 8500 units per year. The Impala is down 49% in the quarter. How is possible to justify the continuation of these models?
"LaCrosse sales fell to 2,118 units, a sales loss of 53.2 percent. "

There is no future for some of the cars Ford is currently selling Mustang yes.
