Aventadors and Chirons offer a lot of driving enjoyment in addition to "flex-ibility". If somebody truly loved cars and hypercars, I could absolutely see the purchase of those cars being driven by enjoyment of the cars over the image of owning the cars.

If I had his money, I'd have a bunch of cool cars. BUT....I'm a car guy...not everybody is.

Oh, and just google "Bill Gates Cars" he has a huge car collection. Owns many cars:

of course, but i'm just (and what i think mk416 was) saying he doesn't care to be showing them off as much as he can. he's so beyond that point, that driving an old jeep around on that particular day is good enough for him.

this is actually quite timely since dougy d just uploaded a video about the porsche 959, which nobody can ever talk about for too long before mentioning that bill gates and jerry seinfeld are two notable 959 owners.

I doubt think anything Bill Gates does is about showing off...

i'd seriously hate to own a huge collection of cars like that. would feel like a monumental waste as i couldn't drive each very often if at all.

I would never own a huge collection of cars ether, it would stress me out. I'd own a few cars I really liked.

Well, for all intents and purposes, both he and Jay Leno are retired, aren't they? That gives them something to do with their spare time.

I didn't know Bill Gates owned the Holy Trinity (P1, 918, LaFerrari). That's cool

bill gates may not work at microsoft, but he travels the world for his numerous philanthropic projects... i doubt he has much time to drive that lot.
